Remote DVR Viewing for Tenants

We offer the ability to view some of our security cameras from your computer over the Internet. You will need a username and password to log in to the system, please contact Swan Leasing if you do not have this already.

Note: This interface currently only works in Internet Explorer. The first time you visit the site from a new computer, the page may need to install several plugins in order to show the video feed. Take the following steps to ensure that your browser does not block these plugins:

1. Click on the Tools -> Internet Options Menu in Internet Explorer.

2. Click on the “Security” tab.

3. Select Local Intranet for the Web Content Zone.

4. Click on the Custom Level button.

5. Ensure that both “Download unsigned ActiveX controls” and “Initalize and Script ActiveX controls not marked as Safe” are set to “Prompt”.

6. Click the “OK” button.

7. Click on the “Yes” button in the Warning message.

8. Click the “OK” button in the Internet Options window.

To access the web interface:

1. Launch Internet Explorer (version 5.5 or later).

2. Click this link or enter the following in the address bar: http://swanleasing.dvrdns.org:8080/wrcontrollite.ssi

3. If this is the first time you have visited the page, you may need to install the viewing plugins. The prompt to install will appear at the top of your browser window.

4. Enter the correct Username and Password in their respective fields (Contact Swan Leasing if you do not have the Username and Password already). Click the OK button.

5. The WaveBrowser window should appear. Type the following in the IP Address Field: swanleasing.dvrdns.org (There may already be a number in this field like “192.168.0.1″, simply replace it).

6. Click the Connect button. If another computer is already connected, a message will pop up asking you to connect in “Live” mode. To do this, click the check box for “Live” and then click “Connect”. You will not be able to play back old video or use any of the rewind/time select tools if another computer is already connected.

7. If no other computers are connected, the system by default will show you a playback of past video. To switch to live video, click “View Live” at the bottom of the control panel.

Once you are connected to the camera system, you should see small thumbnails of each camera appear in the blue part of the screen. You can make these larger, change the screen split, and select individual cameras using the controls on the left. The following legend explains these controls:
